Why The Market Ledger became Grid39, and what the logo's random walk means.

Grid39 started in 2024 as The Market Ledger. This is a placeholder first post: replace it with your own note from the editor, or delete it once you publish your first real piece.

The mark is a 13 by 3 grid. Each column’s height comes from a random walk on 39 in binary (100111, read twice): step up on a 1, step down on a 0, stay between 1 and 3.
